Proprietary 3D application files. Unity can import proprietary files from the following DCC software: Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema4D, Modo, Lightwave & Cheetah3D. Files imported this way are converted into.fbx files by Unity during the import process. Advantages: Updates made to the original model are automatically imported into Unity.

Import the Cinema 4D.c4d file into the Okino software using the Okino.c4d importer. Invoke the OpenFlight exporter within Okino software to create the.flt file. The single ' unified demo version ' will allow you to import and export.c4d files within the stand-alone Okino software or within other supported programs such as 3ds Max and Maya. Matt I was wondering if you know anything about importing an animated 3DsMax project into Cinema4D? MaxToC4D is a very powerful plug-in for converting 3DS Max scene files into C4D projects. Different from the traditional OBJ, FBX, ABC and other solutions, it can better preserve the information of the entire scene, such as materials, lights, animations, etc.

Hi
Import C4d Files Into 3ds Max Software Free
From what I've see and correct-me if I'm wrong c4d only reads the lines in the dwg and the solids simply disappear, without this feature it becomes impossible to use c4d in an effective manner with autocad.
Please could anyone know a effective manner of importing dwg’s solids and meshes to c4d? Ulta.
Thanks
and best regards

I´ve always used Illustrator to export DWG files into legacy format and version 8. AI files should import into c4d without any problems. Not sure if any solids will import only 2d plans and drawings. You should convert files with Okino Polytrans or cinema 4d engineering extension.

It depends what version of C4D you're running, I think more recent releases can open .dwg files directly but one way to do it, and I know because I've done it, is to export from AutoCAD in 3ds format. You'll get the solids OK but they certainly won't be optimised for C4D and you may want to do some clean up to get rid of the triangulation.
